The Breast center specializes in helping women with breast disease. It’s more than just breast cancer; the Clinic assists women in the treatment and management of non-cancerous tumors and lumps, breast pain, fibrocystic disease, and other disorders.
The Breast center examines palpable abnormalities – those that can be felt by hand – and uses sophisticated imaging technology to detect problems that cannot be seen or felt.
The Center uses a variety of methods to diagnose possible breast problems, including:
Digital mammography is a more technologically advanced form of mammography. It is quicker, more comfortable and gives the doctor better images with higher resolution than traditional X-ray based mammography. This is particularly beneficial to patients undergoing stereotactic biopsy-mammograms.
Breast disease is a sensitive issue, and our aim is to help each woman maintain her body’s natural appearance. The Clinic offers breast conservation therapy for women in the early stages of cancer. For patients whose condition is suitable for conservation, the treatment focuses on radiation therapy, as opposed to surgery.

BI-RADS (Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System) is a standardized scoring system (Categories 0–6) used by radiologists to describe mammogram findings and guide follow-up care. A BI-RADS category is not a breast cancer diagnosis or cancer stage.
Breast-Cancer
Finding a breast lump does not automatically mean you have breast cancer. Most lumps are benign. Doctors evaluate a breast lump through a comprehensive three-step approach: a clinical breast exam, diagnostic imaging, and a tissue biopsy only if necessary.
Dense breasts are common and are not abnormal. However, they matter because dense tissue can make some breast cancers harder to see on mammography and is independently associated with increased breast cancer risk.
