Symptoms may involve multiple systems, including:

  • Skin reactions
  • Respiratory symptoms
  • Gastrointestinal symptoms (bloody stools, chronic diarrhea, constipation, bloating)

Drug Allergies:
  • Detailed assessment
  • Allergy testing
  • Safe medication guidance for future treatment

Eye Allergies: Itchy eyes, tearing, irritation, chronic redness

Severe Allergic Reactions (Anaphylaxis):
Symptoms may involve the skin, airway, blood pressure, gastrointestinal tract, or nervous system. Common triggers include:
  • Food allergy

High‑risk groups:
  • Families with a strong history of allergies
  • Pregnant women with allergies
  • Older adults with sensitive skin
  • Individuals with low immunity or frequent infections

Allergies have a strong genetic component. Individuals with parents or relatives who have allergies are more likely to develop the condition. Symptoms often fluctuate over the years—some children improve as they grow, but symptoms may return during adolescence or adulthood.

Common Causes:
  • Genetic predisposition
  • Limited exposure to beneficial microbes during childhood
  • Living in environments with high allergen levels
  • Low sunlight exposure leading to vitamin D deficiency
  • Skin barrier dysfunction

Common Symptoms:
  • Sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, post‑nasal drip
  • Frequent colds, persistent cough, recurrent sinus infections
  • Itchy, watery eyes
  • Dry, itchy skin especially in skin folds
  • Hives
  • Asthma, chest tightness, breathing difficulty
  • Food allergy or insect sting reactions (bee, wasp, hornet)
  • Drug allergy

Accurate diagnosis is essential for effective management and prevention.

1. Skin Prick Test / Patch Test

A standard, highly accurate test that provides results within 20 minutes. It helps identify specific allergens and determines suitability for allergen immunotherapy.

How it works:
A small amount of allergen extract is placed on the skin, followed by a gentle skin prick (without bleeding) to observe any reaction.

Allergens tested include:

  • Dust mites
  • Pollens, grasses, weeds
  • Mold
  • Pet dander
  • Insects
  • Foods (milk, egg, nuts, grains, meat, seafood, fruits, etc.)
  • Medications

Our Allergy Center tests over 100 allergen types in a single visit.

Ideal for: All ages (including infants), with best accuracy after 6 months of age.

Important: Stop antihistamines 4–7 days before the test.

2. Allergy Blood Test (Specific IgE)

An alternative for patients who cannot undergo a skin test or have a higher risk of severe reactions.
Recommended for:

  • History of anaphylaxis
  • Severe eczema preventing skin testing
  • Infants
  • Patients unable to stop antihistamines
  • High‑risk of reaction during skin testing

Our center provides comprehensive treatments—from mild symptoms to severe, treatment‑resistant conditions.

1. Medications (Antihistamines / Nasal Sprays / Asthma Inhalers)

  • Oral antihistamines: Modern, non‑sedating,Long‑acting (12–24 hours), Effective for sneezing, itching, runny nose, and hives
  • Nasal corticosteroid sprays: Reduce inflammation and congestion, and help prevent sinusitis when used consistently.
  • Asthma inhalers: Help reduce flare‑ups and allow patients to live normally when used as prescribed.
2. Allergen Immunotherapy (Allergy Vaccines)
A root‑cause treatment that gradually desensitizes the immune system to allergens.
Administered via injections or sublingual doses, with increasing amounts spaced weekly to monthly.

Effective for:
dust mites, pollen, pet dander, cockroach allergens, and insect venom (bee, wasp, hornet, ant).
Helps reduce symptoms, decrease medication use, and provides long‑term control.

3. Biologic Treatments
Advanced targeted therapies for severe allergies, including:
  • Difficult‑to‑control asthma
  • Atopic dermatitis
  • Chronic urticaria
  • Chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps
  • Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE)
  • Severe food allergy / anaphylaxis

4. Food Allergy Management
Includes evaluation, diagnosis, diet planning, oral food challenge testing, and oral immunotherapy (OIT) which is more effective when started early.

5. Drug Allergy Testing
Helps confirm or remove incorrect drug allergy labels (e.g., penicillin allergy), expanding safe medication options for future treatment.

6. Wet Wrap Therapy
Salt‑water wet wrap treatment combined with topical medication under supervision—effective for moderate to severe eczema in children and adults.

7. Immunoglobulin Therapy
For patients with low or deficient immunity, prone to frequent infections. Helps enhance immune function and improve quality of life.

  • Advanced skin and blood allergy testing (environmental, food, drug, insect allergens)
  • Nasal, food, drug, and exercise challenge testing
  • Lung function assessment (spirometry) and airway inflammation testing (FeNO)
  • Genetic testing where clinically indicated
  • Food and drug challenge procedures
  • Full treatment options: immunotherapy, medications, biologics, immunoglobulin therapy
