Bumrungrad Donates Rubber Boots to the Bang Nam Phueng Subdistrict Administrative Organization

January 05, 2023

Bumrungrad donated rubber boots to protect healthcare and community workers. When working in hazardous environments, proper footwear is essential to prevent accidents and infections.

In an effort to promote safety and good hygiene practices, Bumrungrad International Hospital donated 16 boxes of rubber boots — consisting of 192 pairs — to the Bang Nam Pheung Subdistrict Administrative Organization. The boots were allocated to sub-district health promoting hospitals (SHPH) and rescue centers, totaling of 8 centers, in the Bang Krachao area of Samut Prakan province.

Saichon Saengdaengchart, Director of Bang Yo subdistrict health promoting hospital, and Somboon Suwanthewakupt, Director of the Bang Nam Phueng sub-district health promoting hospital, accepted the donations on their organization’s behalf.

When working in hazardous environments, proper footwear is essential to prevent accidents and infections. Good quality work boots facilitate the staff performing their duties, within the hospital and off-campus locations, such as the patients’ homes.

This donation of the 16 boxes of rubber boots was presented to the Bang Nam Phueng Subdistrict Administrative Organization Office on December 6, 2022.
