New T.V. Show adds Fun to Keep Viewers in Better Health

January 20, 2008

Ta Lui Rong Mor the new weekly program sponsored by Bumrungrad International, takes a lighthearted and fun approach to the serious goal of preventing illness and living healthier.

THE “GOOD MOOD” HEALTHCARE SHOW

One difference viewers notice right away is that the program is hosted by two of Thailand’s most entertaining and funny T.V. personalities. Khun Channarong Kantheetao, better known by the nickname “Tik Glinsee,” and Kiat Kitcharoen take the audience along on their hospital visits to have informative and entertaining discussions with doctors and medical staff who share their expert insight on a variety of healthcare topics. The two hosts also get to play the role of patients to show how doctors treat and care for their patients without adding any of the intense drama usually found on traditional medical shows.

A HEALTHCARE PROGRAM FOR ALL OF US

The show also does away with the complicated medical jargon and impossible explanations that make most medical shows feel more like medical school lectures. With their “common touch” and non-medical backgrounds, the hosts team up to engage doctors and specialists in conversations that everyone can understand. Viewers gain useful information and advice about living healthy, while enjoying a few laughs along the way. The whole point of the program’s unique approach is to show that learning about important topics can be entertaining and enjoyable
