Bumrungrad Recognized in World’s Greenest Hospitals 2026 by Newsweek, Reinforcing Its Commitment to World-Class Healthcare and Sustainable Responsibility

Bumrungrad International Hospital has been recognized as one of the World’s Greenest Hospitals 2026 by Newsweek and Statista. The ranking recognizes hospitals that demonstrate outstanding environmental performance while maintaining high standards of patient care. Bumrungrad received a Performance Indicator rating of 5, the highest level, reflecting the hospital’s commitment to operating responsibly while delivering healthcare in accordance with international standards.

The World’s Greenest Hospitals ranking was launched for the first time in 2026, recognizing 250 leading hospitals across 36 countries worldwide. The ranking reflects the growing importance of sustainability as a key benchmark for world-class hospitals, alongside quality of care, medical technology, and patient experience. Hospitals were evaluated based on six key criteria: Sustainability Performance Data (40%), Expert Recommendations (30%), Certifications and Accreditations (14%), Achievements and Recognition (10%), Commitments and Pledges (4%), and Reporting Transparency (2%).
