Bumrungrad International Hospital, the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation, RXV Wellness Village Sampran by RX Wellness Co., Ltd., Suan Sampran, and Sampran Elderly Association have joined together for a special Bumrungrad Mobile Clinic venture. For this specific Bumrungrad Mobile Clinic event, volunteers paid a special visit to the people of the Sampran District in Nakhon Pathom. The visit took place on July 24th, 2024. Acting Lieutenant Atthachon Sapthawee, Sampran District Chief, gave the opening speech at the event.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taveesin Tanprayoon, Chief Medical Officer of Bumrungrad International Hospital, stated that the Bumrungrad Mobile Clinic, under the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation, has continuously been in operation for more than 22 years. The mobile clinic provides quality primary care to people of less fortunate communities at no cost. As volunteers, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists, administrators, and other hospital personnel join together to provide their expert services.
Khun Piyarat Tanjapatkul, RXV Wellness Executive Vice President, stated that she is very pleased that RXV Wellness Village has joined with such great partners in implementing this project. For this visit, the mobile clinic had set the goal of actually visiting and providing services to 3 separate communities in total: the Sampran community, the Baan Mai community, and the Yai Cha community. The number of people who received care reached 400 in total.
RXV Wellness Village organized an expert team of healthcare professionals to provide health knowledge and organize activities for participants from these communities. The main objective was to promote holistic health and a healthy society.
Bumrungrad International Hospital and the Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation work to promote better health and a better quality of life for people in the community. A major goal of these efforts is to help maintain sustainability within society.
