Bumrungrad International Hospital Receives Certificate of Appreciation for Supporting BOI-CSR Project

Bumrungrad received a certificate of appreciation as a supporter of the project under the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI)

Bumrungrad received a certificate of appreciation as a supporter of the project under the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) from the Community Organizations Development Institute, in collaboration with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, the Board of Investment of Thailand, the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), the Securities and Exchange Commission, and multiple cooperating organizations.

The certificate was presented by Kobsak Pootrakool, PhD, Chairman of Community Organizations Development Institute; Pongthep Wongwatcharapaiboon, MD, CEO of Thai Health Promotion Foundation; and Khun Kritsada Somprasong, Director of the Community Organization Development Institute, at the event titled “The Certificate of Appreciation Ceremony for Supporters of the BOI-CSR Project and the Panel Discussion on Strategies for Sustainable Expansion.” 

The executive team of Bumrungrad International Hospital, led by Artirat Charukitpipat, PhD, CEO of Bumrungrad International Hospital, and Khun Oraphan Buamuang, CFO of Bumrungrad International Hospital, represented the organization in receiving the certificate of appreciation. Artirat Charukitpipat, PhD, also participated in a special panel discussion on the topic “Private Sector Empowerment for Social Progress: From the Ground Up to Sustainability,” held on May 7, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

In 2024, Bumrungrad International Hospital carried out three significant BOI-CSR projects. As part of these initiatives, Bumrungrad purchased and delivered essential medical equipment to hospitals and health service centers located in remote provinces, with a total value exceeding 147 million baht:
  1. Medical equipment and supplies to Phetchabun Hospital and the Kao Dao Primary Care Unit in Phetchabun Province
  2. 10 sets of colonoscopy machines to Rajavithi Hospital to distribute the machines to major hospitals in districts across the country
  3. Three Mobile Mammography and Breast Ultrasound coaches to Pattani Hospital in Pattani Province, Raman Hospital in Yala Province, and Ra-Ngae Hospital in Narathiwat Province to distribute diagnostic and treatment services to various communities nationwide
