การตรวจ Colotect แนะนำที่อายุ 40 ปีค่ะ หรือตรวจก่อน 10 ปี กรณีที่มีคนในครอบครัวเป็นมะเร็งลำไส้ แล้วแต่ว่าอายุไหนต่ำกว่า เช่น  คนในครอบครัวเป็นมะเร็งลำไส้ตอนอายุ 53 ปี ลบ 10 ปี ได้ 43 ปี แต่ก็แนะนำให้ตรวจตั้งแต่อายุ 40 ปี
