COLLECTION PROCESS:
• Voided urine only
• Agitate the urine collection (up and down) before transferring to test tube

Patient Preparation (การเตรียมตัวผู้ป่วย):

• Voided urine only
• Avoid mRNA degradation
- don’t put urine dipstick in sample first
- do get sample into the preservative within 15 minutes
• Do not send sample if grossly bloody
• If patient has acute UTI, treat it first and delay test for 2 weeks
• Wait 2 weeks after cystoscopy
• Wait 6 weeks after BCG
