Clinical Information:
Colorectal cancer screening can use fecal occult blood tests, that is based on the bleeding detection; by detect tranferrin and hemogobin that may be leak from red blood cells, as important symptom of colonic neoplasm, either at an early-stage cancer or large adenomatous polyps. Colorectal cancer is also associated with local acute inflammatory reaction being visualized by detect calprotectin and lactoferrin in some cases, by white cell neutrophil scanning.
