FRESH, LOCAL, AND SUSTAINABLE SHOPPING IN BANGKOK
CONNECTING MAKERS WITH CONSUMERS
In its infancy, Living in Bangkok sought to achieve this goal through helping newcomers settle into their new life in Bangkok by bringing local businesses, schools, and other community organizations together with the public. In a fun and informative day that combines entertainment with networking and shopping, Living in Bangkok seeks to help people become more engaged members of their Bangkok community. Creating an integrated community and a forum for expats is at the heart of the Living in Bangkok philosophy. Newly-arrived expats are welcomed into a vibrant environment where they can immediately feel at home in Bangkok and make friends from all over the world.
A FITTING PARTNERSHIP
This year, Living in Bangkok is partnering with Bangkok Famers’ Market specifically because we believe in their mission to bring local families and local producers together, thus helping people consume healthy and clean products. Living in Bangkok is all about bringing communities closer together through a day of fun, shopping, and fun activities.
MARKETPLACE AND COMMUNITY
The mission of the Bangkok Farmers’ Market is simple: to connect local producers with their community, and to give Bangkok’s residents a chance to consume locally, sustainably, and responsibly. At Living in Bangkok, our main goal is also quite simple: to connect and support our local community. This year, you can expect the small-scale producers we featured in our Bangkok Stories as well as many more vendors and creatives.
You can find Bangkok Farmers’ Market on Saturdays at one of their floating locations, find out about the latest events and locations on their Facebook Page
COME AND VISIT US
Living in Bangkok, or anywhere else, is much more enriching when people come together to create strong communities. This is what we aim to do every year, by bringing local artisans and makers with the new and seasoned expats that call Bangkok their home.
Don’t miss your chance to engage more deeply with your community at this year’s Living in Bangkok event.
