Is Vbeam Laser Treatment Safe?
Vbeam laser treatment is safe, and can even be used on infants. The Vbeam laser can treat almost every skin problem with no side effects. It has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) and the Food and Drug Administration of Thailand.
Are There Any Special Precautions I Need to Take Before and After Treatment?
Before Treatment : Avoid sun exposure or sunbathing for at least 14 days prior to treatment.
After Treatment: Wear an SPF 30+ sunscreen to reduce the risk of sun exposure.
How Many Treatments Are Required?
The number of treatments depends on the degree of redness of the skin. Patients may notice some improvement after the first treatment. However, 5-6 treatments are usually required before patients with more redness see improvement.
What to Expect During and After Treatment?
During Treatment : Expect to feel a warm sensation with either a slight pain or no pain at all. The Vbeam’s cooling system administers cool air to the treatment area during the procedure, which can help minimize any discomfort from the laser’s heat.
After Treatment : The laser treatment does not leave any scars. Red spots and areas with blood vessels will initially become redder, but this will soon dissipate. Patients can even resume wearing makeup right after treatment.
