HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA; Minneapolis) was hired to design the new Petchaburi Campus Hospital for Bumrungrad International Hospital
An architectural contract was signed for the design of the new Petchaburi Campus Hospital for Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand.
HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA; Minneapolis) was hired to design the private hospital that will offer diagnostic, therapeutic, and intensive care facilities in a one-stop medical center.
The project is part of a system-wide facility master plan and space utilization study by HGA that relocates women's and children’s services to a new 23-story hospital within a mile of the main hospital.
The 936,500-square-foot, 220-bed hospital includes a full range of clinical inpatient and outpatient services, along with such amenities as a sky garden with food service, dining room, conference facilities, and 450-stall parking garage. The exterior features a transparent street-level base that welcomes visitors into a light-filled lobby. Common spaces and private patient rooms offer high-end finishes and furnishings, typically found in resort hotels.
Completion is scheduled for December 2016.
