Blood/ K3 EDTA (K3E) (Lavender Top) 3 mL, 1 tube

Document required
Consent for Genetic Testing (LAB-08171)

Turnaround Time (ระยะเวลารอผล):
Receive specimen to report within 7-10 days

Useful For (ประโยชน์การทดสอบ):
This allergy genetic panel test provides information on the risk associated with allergy conditions including the allergy-induced by food and allergy that may affect one’s breathing conditions and skin conditions.

This screening test could help determine the risks of allergies induced by food including peanut allergy and lactose intolerance, an allergy that affects breathing conditions including early childhood asthma, wheezing, and adult onset of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and allergy that affect skin conditions including atopic dermatitis and ichthyosis vulgaris.

Clinical Information (ข้อมูลทางคลินิก):
SNP genotyping for allergy genetic panel is a genetic testing for five single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). This test is a screening tool to determine the risks for peanut allergy, lactose intolerance, early childhood asthma, wheezing, and adult onset of asthma and COPD, atopic dermatitis, and ichthyosis vulgaris. The interpretation of peanut allergy is based on intergenic SNP between HLA-DQB1 & HLA-DQA2 (rs9275596; T>C) and HLA-DRA (rs7192; G>T). The interpretation of lactose intolerance is based on MCM6 (rs4988235; G>A). The interpretation of early childhood asthma, wheezing, and adult onset of asthma and COPD are based on CDHR3 (rs6967330; G>A). The interpretation of atopic dermatitis, and ichthyosis vulgaris are based on FLG (rs61816761; G>A).
