Starve from eating aubergines, avocados, bananas, damson plums, gooseberries, melons, mirabelle plums, pineapples, tomatoes, black/red currants, walnuts for 3-4 days prior to collect urine.                                                
No prescription of acetanilide, caffeine, coumarin, ephedrine-HCl, mephenesin, metamphetamine, methocarbamol, nicotine, paracetamol, phenacetin, phenobarbital, phentolamine aspirin, chlorpromazine, isoniazid, levodopa, methenamine, promethazine, streptozocin for 24Hrs prior to collect urine. 

First Morning urine volume 10 ml., Urine Container
(if cannot send in 2 Hrs, specimen must be keep frozen until sending)

Neurotransmitter (VMA, HVA, 5-HIAA) testing from first morning urine are use for screening test for patients who have no sympstoms or not typical clinical presentation. If the patinets have abnormal results, physician should advice the patients to follow with diagnostic test from 24 hours urine sample

VMA  1.8 - 3.9 mg/g creatinine
HVA   2.1 - 6.3 mg/g creatinine
5-HIAA 2.1 - 5.6 mg/g creatinine
