German Spine Expert Teams With Bumrungrad Surgeons to Train Doctors in New Procedure

นพ. เซบัสเตียน รุทเทน ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ศัลยกรรมและการบำบัดความเจ็บปวด โรงพยาบาล เซนต์ แอนนา เมืองเฮิร์น ประเทศเยอรมนี เป็นวิทยาการในการอบรมเทคนิคการผ่าตัดโรคหมอนรองกระดูกสันหลังทับเส้นประสาท ด้วยกล้อง ซึ่งแพทย์ไทยของ รพ.บำรุงราษฎร์ สองท่าน คือ นพ. วีระพันธ์ ควรทรงธรรม และ นพ. สมโภชน์ ไพบูลย์ศิริจิต ที่ได้ผ่านการฝึกอบรมด้วยเทคนิคนี้จาก นพ. เซบัสเตียน ได้ร่วมเป็นวิทยากรเพื่อฝึกอบรมให้กับศัลยแพทย์ที่สนใจทั้งชาวไทยและต่าง ชาติกว่า 30 คน การอบรมในครั้งนี้เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างโรงพยาบาลบำรุงราษฎร์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และโรงพยาบาล เซนต์ แอนนา เมืองเฮิร์น ประเทศเยอรมนี โดยการอบรมเทคนิคนี้จะจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี โดยสลับระหว่างไทยและเยอรมนีประเทศละสองครั้ง

โรงพยาบาลบำรุงราษฎร์ เปิดตัวโครงการ เปิดตัวโครงการ “อาหารไทยจานอร่อยทั่วโลก” ประจำปี 2553 “The World Famous Flavors of Thailand” โดยมีพ่อครัวจากโรงแรมชั้นนำร่วมสร้างสรรค์เมนูอาหารไทยเพื่อสุขภาพสำหรับ ผู้ป่วยตลอดปี 2553 ปัจจุบันอาหารไทยเป็นที่รู้จักและชื่นชอบไปทั่วโลก นอกจากจะอุดมไปด้วยคุณค่าทางโภชนาการที่ช่วยบำรุงร่างกายแล้ว ยังมีรสชาติอร่อย และราคาไม่แพง มีข้อมูลจากกระทรวงพาณิชย์ได้มีแผนงานในส่งเสริมการขยายจำนวนร้านอาหารไทยใน ต่างประเทศจาก 13,000 แห่งในปี 2552 ให้เป็น 15,000 แห่งในปี 2553 ซึ่งเป็นระยะที่สองของโครงการ “ประเทศไทย ครัวของโลก” ซึ่งมีเป้าหมายในการส่งเสริมการส่งออกอาหารไทยประเภทต่าง ๆ

Bumrungrad International medical team to support Habitat for Humanity to build 82 Homes in Chiang Mai

Mr. Mack Banner, Bumrungrad CEO, with a medical team and volunteers to support Habitat for Humanity to build 82 homes for needy Thai families as a present for the King of Thailand, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, in honor of his 82nd birthday. Bumrungrad is the official medical provider for over 3,000 Habitat volunteers from around the world who will join Habitat for Humanity’s 2009 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project. The event will be take place in Sansai District of Chiang Mai from 15th to 20th November 2009. Bumrungrad will also donate 82 first aid kits to 82 families as part of this project. Hospital volunteers will also help build a house for one of the families.

The HIMSS AsiaPac'10 Exposition will take place in Beijing, China, from the 26th to 28th of May, 2010. This exhibition-led event is organized by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), a not-for-profit and nongovernmental, international healthcare membership organization.
