Bumrungrad Listed Best Quality Company

Survey of business leaders ranks Bumrungrad among most admired Thai companies.
Readers of the Wall Street Journal Asia recently picked the Thai companies they most admired. Bumrungrad International hospital scored sixth highest overall, joining such top Thai companies as Siam Cement, Charoen Pokphand, and PTT.

The business leaders and executives who responded to the survey especially recognized Bumrungrad for quality.
“In the category of quality of goods and services, readers gave the number two spot to high-technology Bumrungrad Hospital PCL, a leader in ‘medical tourism,’ hosting thousands of foreign patients annually,” said the paper in its July 5 edition.

The survey is part of the Journal’s annual “Asia 200” report, first conducted in 1993 to identify the most admired companies in the Asia Pacific region. This year’s survey highlights innovation and reports the top 10 public companies in each of 12 countries, as chosen by the Journal’s readers.

“The Asia 200 survey is the ultimate performance review of Asia’s leading companies,” says the newspaper.
