Basic Requirement:
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Thai RN license (Master degree preferred)
2. BLS and Code 3 trained
3. At least five year’s experience working in various clinical area and has achieved the necessary competency level for RN
4. Knowledge of concepts of performance improvement, continuous quality improvement, including basic statistical concepts and applications, data collection, analysis and display techniques.
5. Prior experience in teaching or involvement in staff development preferred.
6. Prior experience in working as a preceptor with newly graduated staff preferred.
7. Has a good grasp of nursing mission, vision and values.
8. Certification by the National Association for Healthcare Quality or certification from the American Hospital Association/American Society for Healthcare Risk Managers as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) is desirable.

Job Purpose Conduct Quality Initiative activities (Nursing Division) under the direction of the Nursing Research Director and support Departments.
The Quality Nurse Educator responsible for the entire process of assessing needs planning, designing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating outcomes of nursing quality indicators.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Responsible in the Coordination & Collection nursing quality improvement activities.
2. Coordinates the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Nursing Division's overall Quality Improvement (QI) program.
3. Participate in identifies trends, prioritize and recommend improvements of Nursing Quality.
4. Investigates incident reports, patient complaints, patient care issues, and other issues related to Nursing Quality.
5. Provide education on nursing quality plan, nursing quality indicators to new staff as part of new staff orientation.
6. Conducts nursing quality outcome updates to all nursing staff on an annual basis.
7. Incorporates any relevant quality data, incident reports and customer feedbacks in staff training as Nursing Clinical Educator.
8. Works collaboratively with (Nursing units) to identify the corrective action plans.
9. Selects and obtain materials and supplies such as Journal, textbooks website and laboratory equipment that related to Nursing Quality issue.
10. Develops and implement annual Nursing Quality plan.
11. Contributes in the identification of meaningful quality indicators to measure safe and efficient nursing care.
12. Serves as a resource to the staff to address any nursing Quality concerns.
13. Attends professional workshops, conference and other meetings to promote and improve the quality of nursing.
14. Identifies new staff orientation and learning needs of Nursing Quality Indicators, teaching designs flexible, meaningful and motivating orientation programs by utilizing a variety of methods.
15. Ensures staff compliance in patient safety measures by emphasizing the importance of International Patient Safety Goals, medication safety, IV and blood safety, Bundle Care, restraint use, Nursing Process, Wound Care and nursing standardize protocols.
16. Contributes to writing the evidence based best nursing practice to national and international journals.
17. Emphasizes training in nursing value, nursing rights, team building, and proactive risk reporting.
18. Updates and modifies orientation, training, and staff development through staff evaluation and input.
19. Maintains current knowledge of educational principles and teaching skills.
20. Keeps current of new technique, treatments and procedures through attending educational conferences, reading, and researching state of the art practices.
21. Demonstrates care, pride, and interest in teaching and training as evidenced by positive feed back from trained staffs.
22. Monitors to assure that the nurses integrate corrective action plans identified through quality improvement activities and evidence-based standard of practices in their delivery of care.
23. Communicates effectively with the nursing instructors to maintain school affiliation.
24. Participates in hospital wide continuing nursing quality improvement programs.
25. Demonstrates organizational skills and able to complete work on time without need to be reminded.
26. Performs related work as required.
27. Assists in the preparation of reports required by national or international committees.
28. Maintains Joint Commission International standards and Thai regularly requirements.
29. Participates as a member of the Magnet project including involvement as one of the committees member (The nursing Quality committee)
30. Collaborating with TQM submit report on time and attend the quality meeting
