 Chemical Peel

The Effect

Restores wrinkled, blemished, unevenly pigmented, or sun-damaged facial skin, using a chemical solution to peel away skin's top layers.

The Procedure

Prior to your procedure, your dermatologist will evaluate your case and with you select the most appropriate solution for your treatment.

The solution is applied to the entire face or just to certain regions, such as the crow's feet area around the eyes or the vertical wrinkles around the mouth. It will be applied using a sponge, a cotton pad or sometimes, for smaller areas, a cotton swab or brush.

The dermatologist observes changes in the appearance of the skin and removes when required.

Best candidates

Works best on the fair, thin skinned area with superficial wrinkles.
